Study on Population Interactions of Lamprey Based on Lotka-Volterra Model and Spatio-Temporal Evolution Modeling

This paper explored the interactions among lamprey populations based on the Lotka-Volterra model and spatiotemporal evolutionary modeling approach. By modeling and analyzing the abundance and spatial distribution of lamprey populations, we revealed the complex predatory and competitive relationships among them. Employing a multi-model approach, we utilize the Lotka-Volterra model to construct a dynamic representation of the lamprey population’s sex ratio, integrating differential equations to describe temporal and spatial evolution. Our findings reveal the impact of gender-specific behaviors on resource availability, subsequently influencing ecosystem stability. Additionally, we develop models to simulate resource utilization efficiency and reproductive success rates under varying sex ratios. Furthermore, by categorizing predators based on gender-specific parasitic behaviors, we establish a comprehensive food chain model to assess ecosystem stability.
