Intermodulation Immunity of FM Receivers

The intermodulation phenomenon in the FM receivers limits the number of radiostations which may work simultaneously on the same territory without loss of their reception quality. The problem is particularly important in the big cities where the demand for stations in the VHF band is great. Paper presents the results of FM receiver input intermodulation immunity investigations and compares them with EN 55020 requirements. Some advices for radiostation network planners are given.
