Bonding Configurations for Telecommunications Installations

This paper describes the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measures that are included in the new CCITT Recommendation K.27 concerning bonding configurations and earthing inside telecommunications buildings. It introduces the definitions and configurations of the Recommendation, and presents qualitative rationales for the EMC measures. It also introduces efforts in CCITT Study Group Five concerning bonding configurations and earthing at subscribers' premises.
