GSM Based System for Vehicle Gas Leakage Detection and Driver Condition Assessment

The issue of gas leaking presents notable safety implications in vehicles powered by gas fuel. We suggest an entirely novel mobile-based system which combines sophisticated sensors with instantly notifications to monitor vehicles and detect gas leaks for enhanced security. The research inquiry revolves around the issue of gas leaks in vehicles and the associated possible dangers they present. Providing a complete system for the proactive prevention of accidents due to gas leaks and ongoing tracking of gas levels is the goal of this work. In this study, we present a device incorporating a gas sensor and an Arduino Nano microcontroller, designed to autonomously identify gas leakages through continuous monitoring of gas concentration levels. When exposed to hazardous conditions, the gas sensor activates both visual LED and auditory buzzer alarms.The system utilizes GSM technology to transmit SMS and call alerts to specific mobile devices, ensuring prompt notifications to consumers. Additionally, it monitors gas cylinder weight during dispatch and usage, and tracks temperature and humidity fluctuations using a DHT-11 device. The study proposes integrating an alcohol detector with an Arduino microcontroller platform to assess the driver’s state in real-time. If alcohol concentration exceeds legal limits, an alarm system is triggered. A microcontroller and SIM800A are used to send data to a cloud based server that users can access via a website from any location. Owners can remotely monitor vehicle data via a website. Our study uniquely addresses vehicle safety concerns, concentrating on gas leakage and driver impairment. The effectiveness of our system is demonstrated by its capability to detect gas leaks, send mobile alerts, and assess driver conditions. This study presents a solid framework for enhancing safety measures pertaining to gas in cars.
