Design of a Modular Millimeter Wave Security Scanner and Its Driver Management System

This design introduces a modular millimeter wave (MMW) body imaging security scanner that facilitates rapid deployment and incorporates human-machine interaction features. The paper elaborates on the working principles of MMW technology and its application in security screening, analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of existing mechanically reciprocating antenna scanners and array antenna scanners. Based on this analysis, a novel modular MMW body imaging security scanner is designed, consisting of five parts: left scanning module, right scanning module, bottom module, top connection module, and human-machine interaction module. This design significantly simplifies the transportation and installation process, enhances the efficiency and flexibility of security screening, and improves user experience through the human-machine interaction module.
