Research on Front-End JavaScript Code Protection Method Based on Go Language and WebAssembly

In web development, the security of front-end JavaScript code has always been a crucial issue. Traditional encryption methods are primarily performed on the server side, increasing server load and making it challenging to counter increasingly sophisticated cyber-attacks. This paper explores a novel front-end code protection method by implementing the RC4 algorithm in Go language and combining it with WebAssembly technology. Firstly, the basic principles of the Go language and RC4 algorithm are introduced. Subsequently, the process of compiling Go code into WebAssembly modules is detailed. Finally, the utilization of these technologies to protect front-end JavaScript code is discussed. Experimental results show that using WebAssembly modules not only enhances the security of front-end code and reduces server load but also significantly improves the overall performance of web applications. This research demonstrates a feasible front-end code protection solution and provides a foundation for further study.
