Shielding and Immunity from Radio Interferences Basic Objects of Measurement Methods

Standards on measurement methods of immunity from conducted or radiated radio interferences are particularly urgent as in many cases they have the hidden porpose of establishing limits. In order to approach this goal an analysis is carried out of the concept of immunity and basic conditions asked by measurement methods are pointed out. A detaild development of these topics with the relative theoretical analysis and mathematical developments is not possible in a short paper as the present one. Then the matter will be examined only from a general point of view, with no reference to different specific devices. Difficulties, drawbacks and lacks of principal methods at present under consideration, will be reviewed.
