Design and Implementation of 6dof Robotic Arm Using LabView for Enhanced Automation and Quality Control

This research study gives an in-depth examination of the plan and usage of automated arm frameworks, centering on progressing robotization and productivity over different applications. We focus on four degrees of freedom (4DoF) robotic arm, crafted to replicate human arm movements and controlled through an intuitive graphical interface in LabView,which ensures the smooth operation of servomotors. In addition, we introduce a six degrees of freedom (6DoF) robotic arm controller that utilizes Pulse Width Modulation for accurate movements, with coordination managed by an Arduino microcontroller. The findings illustrate the versatility of these robotic arms in performing tasks such as material handling and assembly. We also discuss the development of an automated quality inspection system, where the robotic arm can effectively remove defective items with a 96% accuracy rate. This study emphasizes the importance of practical engineering education through hands- on projects, equipping students with the skills necessary to tackle real-world challenges. We advocate for the adoption of advanced robotic solutions to enhance productivity and operational quality across diverse industries.
