Harnessing 6G Technology for Seamless Autonomous Vehicle Communication and Performance Enhancement

The evolution from 5G to 6G presents unprecedented opportunities for autonomous vehicle systems, significantly enhancing their operational capabilities. Latencies, data throughput, energy efficiency, and advancements in security are the primary metrics employed in this article to assess the performance of 5G and 6G. The integration of AI-driven traffic control systems is currently under investigation, as 6G boasts an utmost limit of 1 Tbps, data throughput exceeding 350 Gbps, and a sub-millisecond latency. This integration would lead to increased efficacy in routing, congestion prediction, and power savings. Additionally, research is being conducted on quantum-enhanced security methods, including quantum key distribution, in order to establish secure vehicle-to-everything (V2X) connections. The article continues by exploring the potential incorporation of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) techniques with vehicle swarm communication to enhance the collaboration of autonomous vehicles. This study illustrates that autonomous car ecosystems will be considerably improved by next-generation communication technology, resulting in safer and more efficient mobility options.
