Because DC fast charging allows automobiles to easily recharge in a brief break when needed, it is crucial for drivers and fleet owners to be able to utilise their vehicles without worrying about running out of fuel. Fast charging stations that use DC technology supply an electric vehicle's battery with a high-power DC current, typically up to 120kW, directly to the battery, bypassing any onboard AC/DC converter. Since the majority of cars on the road today have a maximum power of 50kW, that is typically the maximum power that is installed.
