Coherent Temporal Stacking of Tens-of-fs Laser Pulses Towards Plasma Accelerator Applications

Numerical simulations of the coherent pulse stacking technique prove that large number of tens-of-fs laser pulses can be stacked with negligible stacking efficiency degradation. Experiments demonstrate high-efficiency stacking of nine, 50fs bandwidth pulses with four stacking cavities.
