Automatic Robot for Rail Crack Detection System

Railway infrastructure safety remains a critical concern in modern transportation systems. This paper presents a novel approach to enhancing rail way safety through the integration of robotic technology for crack detection and advanced object detection algorithms. And by deploying autonomous robotic platforms equipped with cutting-edge sensors, including high- resolution cameras, we enable efficient and accurate detection of rail defects. Through extensive experimentation and validation, we could demonstrate the effectiveness of our solution in enhancing railway safety and operational efficiency. Our work represents a significant step towards proactive crack detection, contributing to the advancement of railway infrastructure maintenance practices worldwide.
