Electronic Apiary Monitoring System with Built-in Sensors and Motorized Hive Access Control

This paper focuses on the digitalization of beekeeping operations within an apiary, introducing an advanced monitoring system for multiple hives. The system is designed to collect and analyze essential data, such as temperature, relative humidity, hive mass, and internal sound intensity. Additionally, it incorporates a remote-controlled motor-operated door mechanism for hive entrance control. The monitoring system employs a complex setup to ensure effective data processing and display. The development process involves various stages, including schematic diagram conception, printed circuit design and manufacturing, assembling, and comprehensive testing, to ensure optimal performance in a real-life apiary setting.
