A Methodology for Designing Phase-Correction Sections Using an Active Implementation with an Operational Amplifier

The paper briefly presents the basic principles of phase correction. A model of a phase corrector using an active implementation with an op-amp is proposed. A methodology for its design is given in the paper. MATLAB program modules for the synthesis and analysis of phase correctors are developed. A MicroCAP simulation of the phase corrector designed using the suggested methodology is shown in the paper. A laboratory board is implemented for the study of amplitude and phase correctors according to the proposed methodology. The simulation results are compared with the experimental ones in the paper.
