A Robust Passivity-Based Control Using Genetic Algorithm for A DC-DC Boost Power Converter

In this paper, a robust passivity-based control for a DC-DC boost power converter using genetic algorithm with decimal encoder is proposed. The plant is passive. The coefficients of the robust passivity-based control are adjusted optimally using genetic algorithm with decimal encoder. The simulation results are done with Simulink in MATLAB. When the input voltage and the load resistor are varied, the simulation results show that the capacitor voltage is kept at desired voltage when there is the model error.
