502.6 Tbit/s S+C+L-Band Transmission in Anti-Resonant Hollow-Core Fiber

We experimentally demonstrate a record-breaking high-capacity transmission in self-developed wideband 11.04-km anti-resonant hollow-core fiber (AR-HCF). Enabled by same-wavelength bidirectional technique, dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM), and S+C+L-band 156-nm bandwidth, a total net GMI throughput of 502.6 Tbit/s is achieved for the first time to the best of knowledge. Compared with standard single mode fiber (SSMF) based transmission, the maximum achieved capacity for AR-HCF is enhanced by 25%, while the used spectrum is reduced by 48%.
