Experimental 100M Real-Time Visible Light Communication System Based on Miniaturized Laser Drived

Aiming at the demand for equipment miniaturisation for underwater optical communication, this paper designs a blue-green laser driver circuit that can realise arbitrary waveform driving. Using the chip-type current feedback operational amplifier THS3091, which replaces the large-size RF amplifier module, together with the constant current source and Bias-T, the miniaturisation of the laser driver circuit is achieved. Based on OSRAM PL520B and PL450B laser tubes, an arbitrary waveform driver with a 3dB bandwidth of 70MHz is realised, while the average output optical power of PL520B is 45.6mW, and that of PL450B is 120.6mW, and the overall power supply is only 2.4 W. Finally, using the miniaturised arbitrary waveform laser driver in this paper, a 100Mbps real-time laser modulation circuit based on OFDM is completed. modulation of 100Mbps real-time visible light communication system experiment is built.
