Bulk Current Injection Test Modeling and Creation of a Test Methodology

To prevent electromagnetic perturbation, particularly for car builders [1], one of the most common standards is the BCI (Bulk Cable Injection)[2]. This test has a lot of nonreproducibility problems. To quantify and, if possible, prevent those problems, we simulate the BCI bench test and study a benchmark which can amplify any problems seen in simulation. This study was financed by the C.E.E. (Electronic Expertise Center) of VALEO in collaboration with IRSEEM and ESIGELEC. The method used for this study is based on comparison between model simulation and measurement with network analyzer. To start our work we used several theses [3][4].
