Development of an Optimization Model for an Asynchronous Motor of a Special Electric Drive Using the Geometric Programming Method

The analysis of optimization methods was carried out, and as a result of the analysis of optimization methods, the geometric programming method was selected for the considered designs of electric drives. A set of special controlled asynchronous electric drives of various designs was developed. The use of the optimization method based on geometric programming allows achieving engineering accuracy in optimizing various parameters, such as: geometric dimensions, volumes of active materials and other parameters. Design, development and creation of new types of electric drives involves the synthesis of the use of classical calculation methods and the development of new ones. Previously, new mathematical models of an electromagnetic system in the form of separate elements were developed, which can be represented as a system of electromagnets. The problem of determining electromagnetic and energy parameters was solved. The next stage in the design and development of special asynchronous electric drives is the optimization of the parameters of the devices being developed. For further study of the considered designs of special electric drives, a system of relative units was developed, permissible ratios of basic quantities were determined and a conclusion was made about their necessity. This research formed the basis for the developed software products.
