Research on Fuzzy Control Strategy for Dual Rotor Wind Power Generation System

With the advancement and application of renewable energy technologies, wind power generation systems have garnered widespread attention as a vital clean energy solution. This study focuses on the fuzzy control strategies for dual rotor wind power generation systems, aiming to enhance their performance and stability under varying wind speeds. Initially, the dynamic characteristics of wind turbines are described through the establishment of mathematical models. Subsequently, adaptive and responsive control strategies based on fuzzy control theory are designed to address fluctuations in output power caused by changes in wind speed. Finally, the effectiveness and stability of the fuzzy control strategies are validated through simulation experiments under different operating conditions. The research findings demonstrate that the amplitude of rotational speed fluctuations during sudden wind speed changes in the dual rotor wind power generation system utilizing fuzzy control strategy is reduced by 30% compared to using traditional control strategy, with a decrease in response time by 0.15 seconds. This research provides a theoretical foundation and practical application guidance for optimizing the control of dual rotor wind power generation systems, thereby contributing significant academic and practical value to the advancement of wind energy utilization technologies.
