Measuring the Parameters of a Synchronous Electric Motor for an Electric Vehicle

In the modern world, the problem of the ecological state of our planet is acute. The deterioration of the ecological situation in the world depends on many factors, including both natural impacts and human actions. A promising solution to this problem may be the replacement of traditional cars with internal combustion engines with more environmentally friendly electric cars. The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal structure of an electric car based on the educational stand “Electric Car Engine”, as well as to study the functions of this device, located in the Kazan State Power Engineering University. The authors of the article processed and analyzed the capabilities of modern equipment that simulates the operation of a particular unit of an electric car. The technology of the laboratory stand operating an electric car, together with the DVT Customer software, allows for full control of the electric motor, as well as monitoring and changing a large number of parameters affecting the operation of the entire device as a whole. Since electric cars are gaining more and more popularity every year, the demand for people who can diagnose, repair and even improve existing ones, as well as develop new units and assemblies in the field of electric vehicles, is growing significantly. Using the work “Electric Vehicle Engine” for teaching technical disciplines and conducting research work can serve as a good basis for forming a general knowledge base about electric transport, its structure, the operating principle of all the main elements, control and diagnostics of an electric vehicle.
