Investigation of the Mechanical Part of the Cargo Movement Mechanism with the Development of a Method for Limiting Vibrations of Flexibly Suspended Cargo

The process of moving flexibly suspended cargo is accompanied by the appearance of loads on the metal structures of the bridge crane and on the electromechanical part of the electric drive due to the rocking of the transported cargo. Limiting this process, and if possible, its complete cessation, is an urgent task, for which many methods have been proposed. The paper proposes a method for limiting the vibrations of a flexibly suspended load, which can significantly reduce the amplitude of vibrations.
