Research on the Application of Information Technology in University Network Security

This article investigates the current status of network security construction in universities through a questionnaire survey, summarizes the problems existing in current university network security, and the needs for network security construction in universities. Based on this, it proposes that university network security should be carried out from the aspects of overall defense, defense implementation, technical implementation, supplementary defense, etc. It also focuses on analyzing the specific applications of information technologies such as firewall, vulnerability scanning, security situation awareness, and automated penetration testing in university network security. This provides effective references for maintaining university network security and improving the quality of university network construction.
