Innovative Meta Ring Array Antenna Design for Ka-Band: Utilization of Arlon Substrate for Enhanced Performance

The expansion of telecommunication systems necessitates antennas that balance a wide operational bandwidth with high efficiency. Traditional designs often fall short, particularly at higher frequencies, affecting overall system performance and user satisfaction. Existing methods largely rely on standard impedance matching techniques that do not fully meet the demands of modern communication devices, leading to significant energy losses. The introduced antenna design incorporates advanced materials and innovative geometric configurations to enhance impedance matching and expand operational bandwidth. Experiments were conducted across frequencies ranging from 8 GHz to 20 GHz, utilizing metrics such as surface current and specific absorption rate (SAR) to assess performance. Results demonstrated a minimal voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 1.0061 and a return loss of -50.3110 dB at 14.27 GHz, indicating superior efficiency and effective power transmission. The enhanced design significantly improves performance over traditional models, especially in high-frequency applications, providing substantial benefits in efficiency and safety. Future efforts will aim to further refine these designs, enhancing performance and safety across a broader spectrum of operational frequencies.
