An Improved Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method and Application in the Energy Efficiency Management of Multi-energy Complementary Microgrid System

A large amount of high-energy-consuming enterprises has gathered at Mengxi industrial park in Inner Mongolia region, such as pharmaceuticals and chemical industry, leading to a dramatic increase in electricity consumption. With the proposal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, the traditional thermal power generation mode is no longer suitable for local environmental conditions. This work investigated the typical operation characteristics of multi-energy complementary microgrid based on the source-load and the distribution of uncertain renewable energy such as wind and solar energy. An improved fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are proposed for an efficient and stable multi-energy complementary intelligent microgrid integrated wind, solar, thermal, and energy storage, with the objective of minimizing the total operating cost. This research provide a reference for the development of multi-energy complementary grid technology in western Inner Mongolia, which contributes to the effective utilization of renewable energy.
