Generation of Electricity Using Footstep Energy: An IoT-Based Approach

In this paper, a non-conventional approach is taken into consideration to generate electrical energy just by stepping on the footsteps. By utilizing footstep energy, non-conventional energy transforms mechanical energy into electrical energy. The electrical energy can then be controlled or saved for later use. The goal is to maximize the energy that is being squandered while also obtaining a pollution-free energy source. A prototype module with a spring-loaded mechanical structure is built with the intention of producing energy anytime a force is applied to its surface in order to practically enhance this concept. Using footsteps to generate energy doesn't involve the use of fuel to produce electricity. With the aid of a rack and pinion arrangement, the proposed system is producing power. Although the production of power is highly valuable, there aren't many early cost-effective variables. This power source has numerous uses. It is connected to a microcontroller-based monitoring circuit, which lets the user check the voltage, current and power of battery and controlling the load. The concept of this paper is simple to use and reasonably priced. Installing this system is possible in places where people are always on the go, such as shopping malls, schools, colleges and any other crowded areas.
