The Effects of Electromagnetic Pulses from Nuclear Explosions (NEMP) on Electrical and Other Objects

Electromagnetic pulses from nuclear explosions (EMP or NEMP) can have considerable effects on communication, electronic and power systems. EMP from high altitude explosions can cover almost a continent and create special electromagnetic compatibility problems for society. The purpose of this survey on EMP effects is to review some general features and difficulties.
