On-Road Dynamic Wireless Charging for Electric Vehicle Based on Solar Photovoltaic

The manuscript proposes the Solar Photovoltaic based On-road Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (SOD-WPT) to the Electric Vehicle (EV) while the EV is moving on road. The proposed SOD-WPT consists of Solar Photovoltaic, FLC controlled Tripple-Lift Luo Converter (TLLC), H5 TLI, Wireless Power transmission and receiving coils, rectifier, FLC controlled buck converter. The TLLC lift the voltage by implementing the LC ladder technique. The flexible and adaptive solutions to enhances the DC-DC conversion with higher voltage gains, efficiency and robustness are the reason for the selection of the TLLC. The control strategy for the TLLC is considered using the FLC controller. The output of the TLLC is given to H5 TLI to convert the DC to AC which will be transmitted through the transmission and receiving coils based on electromagnetic induction. The induced AC at the receiving end will be rectified and fed to the buck converter based on FLC Controller to charge the EV battery. The FLC and SPWM validates its implementation by enhancing the stability, accuracy, diminishing the THD and improves the overall system efficiency during nonlinearity.
