Design of Fold-N-Go: A Portable and Eco-Friendly Solution for Urban Mobility

As the world's population grows and available space diminishes, we find ourselves in a compact world where everything is shrinking. In such times, it's crucial to consider vehicles that can easily fold and be taken anywhere. Our project aims to create a portable vehicle which will be user-friendly and zero emissions. This FOLD-N-GO EV can be easily carried by children also as it was weightless. To tackle parking issues, we've designed a foldable electric vehicle that can be conveniently stored after use. For mechanical transmission, we've integrated a DC motor that runs on batteries and eliminating the need for fuel and reducing emissions. Charging these batteries at home makes the project more economical, particularly for middle-class individuals. We've applied engineering expertise to create an environmentally friendly, compact, and affordable solution that can be easily managed by any person. Throughout the design process, we've prioritized factors like power, affordability, and easy to use, comfort, and minimal maintenance costs, easy to carry. This EV can be carried in shopping malls, airports, railway stations etc. This is one project which we afford less capital all over India and also maintaining equal efficiency compared present EV's. This vehicle is being developed by a team comprising of 7 members in GMRIT which is easy to use with Fold-N-Go technology with minimal cost and affordable price within 10K budget.
