Wireless Sensors and Their Data Transmission

This paper presents some issues about sensors and methods to send wirelessly their measurement data to a user. There are considered the inertial sensors that are available in smartphones but also in other mobile devices. The methods to transmit their measurement data to the user are based on internet or BLE connections. Software resources existing in smartphones or personal computers are presented. Experiments that allow gathering the sensor data using different scenarios of movement are also presented.
