Research on Circuit Breaker Online Monitoring System Based on Switching Control Device

An online monitoring system based on a switching control device is proposed for the circuit breaker. The system primarily employs a switching control device to measure the electrical opening and closing time and mechanical opening and closing time of the circuit breaker, which helps deduce the closing pre-arcing time and the opening arcing time. In addition, it collects the SF6 air pressure and mechanism oil pressure of the circuit breaker. The working status of the circuit breaker is evaluated according to the phase selection control effect by utilizing the internal connection between the circuit breaker online monitoring system and the switching control device. The system not only realizes the phase selection control function, but also achieves online monitoring of the circuit breaker, offering significant integration advantages and economic value.
