Investigation of Structural, Pyroelectric and Energy Storage Properties of Lead-free Ba0.85Sr0.15Zr0.09Sn0.01Ti0.9O3 Ceramics

The Ba0.85Sr0.15Zr0.09Sn0.01Ti0.9O3 ceramic samples were fabricated by solid-state reaction method. The structural, dielectric, ferroelectric, pyroelectric, and energy storage characteristics of the prepared system were studied. The Structural analysis indicates the presence of tetragonal P4mm space group. The dielectric studies reveal the diffused phase transition behavior. The temperature dependent pyroelectric coefficient and figure of merits are studied. The energy storage and efficiency varying with temperature is also investigated. The energy storage efficiency of ~ 61% near room temperature was observed. The overall characteristics indicate that the prepared ceramics are potential choices for energy storage application areas.
