The Influence of QRIS Payment Method Usage and Effectiveness Level on Small and Medium Enterprise (SME)

The rapid evolution of digital payment systems is reshaping the financial landscape, offering significant benefits to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) globally. In Indonesia, the introduction of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), a unified payment platform developed by Bank Indonesia, aims to streamline digital transactions across various payment systems. This study investigates the impact of QRIS on the operational effectiveness and performance of Indonesian SMEs. Employing a survey method, data were collected from 200 SMEs using QRIS and analyzed using statistical techniques to assess its effects on transaction efficiency and business performance. The findings reveal that QRIS adoption significantly enhances transactional efficiency, leading to improved business metrics. These results underscore the potential of QRIS to bolster SME competitiveness and efficiency, providing valuable insights for policymakers and business owners considering digital payment integration.
