Characteristics of University Happiness Conditions and Academic Performance: A Case Study of a University in Arequipa, Peru

The analysis reveals that university students' happiness, particularly in aspects of well-being, community, and perspective, positively correlates with academic performance. Women exhibit slightly higher levels of happiness compared to men. Satisfaction in areas such as recreational activities and social relationships also influences happiness. However, students display a high ecological footprint, indicating an “environmental distraction.” It is crucial to enhance psychological well-being and sustainability in educational policies.
