Wearable IoT Control Interface with Multimodal Triboelectric Sensing and Pneumatic Haptic Feedback

This paper introduces a novel wearable IoT control interface combining multimodal triboelectric sensing and pneumatic haptic feedback. Triboelectric sensors, known for their high sensitivity and rapid response, effectively detect mechanical changes caused by hand movements without requiring an external power source. The pneumatic haptic feedback system adjusts air pressure to provide physical stimuli, delivering realistic haptic feedback to the user. The proposed system offers precise touch sensing and dynamic feedback by combining these two technologies, significantly enhancing the user interaction experience. Experimental results demonstrate that the system accurately captures various pressure conditions and provides corresponding haptic feedback. This integration addresses current limitations in multimodal fusion and system complexity and paves the way for developing more efficient and multifunctional human-machine interaction systems. The research highlights the potential applications of this innovative interface in fields such as virtual reality, remote control, and rehabilitation training, showcasing its broad application value and contribution to the advancement of interaction technologies.
