Multi-Beam Line Placement Strategy Based on Single-Objective Programming and Greedy Algorithm

In recent years, there has been a significant surge of progress related to the optimization of multi-beam line placement to enhance the accuracy and precision of measurement. This paper presents a method based on a three- dimensional (3D) model and single-objective programming to solve the problem of the optimal placement of multi-beam lines. The ultimate goal of this approach is to ensure efficient and precise measurement. The study constructs a model to realize the calculation of depth, coverage width, and overlap rate. Subsequently, an optimal line placement strategy was derived through the application of single-objective programming and greedy algorithms. The practicality and effectiveness of the strategy are verified by several simulation experiments, and the results show that the strategy can significantly improve the efficiency and quality of mapping. Finally, this study explores the practical application of the strategy and designs optimal multi-beam lines with a total length of 148133.72 m for a certain area. The applicability and superiority of the scheme are verified, providing an innovative technical scheme for modern measurement tasks.
