Advancing Blockchain Integration in Manufacturing: A Roadmap Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030

Blockchain technology, increasingly central to industrial innovation, has significant potential in the Saudi Ara-bian manufacturing sector and is particularly aligned with the strategic goals of Vision 2030. This paper assesses the current understanding of the blockchain of IT employees in this sector and develops a detailed implementation roadmap to guide integration efforts. Furthermore, the paper reviews the recent manufacturing initiatives announced by the Saudi government, aligning these with specific phases of the blockchain roadmap to ensure a coherent and strategic implementation. The study first evaluates the blockchain knowledge base of IT professionals, which is essential to develop targeted educational programmes and interventions. The study then outlines a blockchain adoption roadmap tailored to improve operational efficiency and advance technological integration in Saudi manufacturing. This survey questionnaire approach not only aims to advance blockchain technology within the sector but also positions Saudi manufac-turing at the forefront of industrial innovation and economic growth.
