Design and Development of a Smart CubeSat for Environmental Monitoring

This paper presents the design and development of a smart CubeSat utilized for environmental monitoring, consisting of various types of atmospheric sensors integrated with Arduino IDE board. Due to the high sustainability, economic feasibility, and compact size, CubeSats have been deployed. In this paper, we aim to collaborate real time data monitoring with a stable ground station to acquire relevant data. This paper also highlights the payload weight of the structure obtained, empirical formulas for the calculations involved, material selection, and statistical data highlighting the expected results. The designed CubeSat offers a prototype version of the actual model. It addresses the challenges and solutions for environmental monitoring. The launch of CubeSat is planned using Helium Balloon launch.
