Graphibabot-An Aiding Device for Dysgraphia

According to data from Indian Paediatrics,the prevalence of dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia in Indian primary school students ranges from 2% to 18%, 14%, and 5.5%, respectively. Individuals with dysgraphia encounter difficulties with handwriting, typing, and spelling.They might have trouble with things like composition, grammar, writing speed, letter size and spacing, and letter formation. Our project addresses the challenge of dysgraphia in children by developing an assistive device that includes a display with software and a pen. This device helps children improve their writing skills by ensuring they write specific alphabets correctly on paper. It provides comprehensive analysis and improvement graphs of the child's writing, facilitating gradual enhancement without requiring constant parental assistance. This innovative solution aims to aid children with dysgraphia and similar writing difficulties, offering a practical alternative solution by designing the smart pen and software application which is attractive to kids with customisation of cartoons according to the kid’s interest replacing the existing therapies.
