Dynamic Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging System With Integration of Square Coils and Solar Energy

This research focuses on developing a dynamic wireless charging system for electric vehicles (EVs) that enables in-motion charging via multiple copper coils embedded in roadways. Utilizing magnetic resonance-based wireless power transfer (WPT), the system achieves high efficiency in both stationary and dynamic scenarios, eliminating the need for conventional charging stations. Key innovations include the integration of square coils, which enhance energy transfer by improving flux linkage, alignment tolerance, and magnetic field uniformity. This design reduces magnetic field leakage, enhancing safety and minimizing electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the system integrates solar panels to generate renewable energy, supporting sustainable transportation by reducing reliance on fossil fuels. The proposed infrastructure is designed for easy integration with existing road systems, offering a practical solution to extend EV range and alleviate range anxiety. By enabling seamless, on-the-go charging, this project aims to revolutionize EV charging infrastructure, promoting broader adoption of electric vehicles and contributing to a more sustainable future.
