Analysis of Smart Substation Relay Protection Debugging and Application

With the continuous growth of social demand for electricity, the number of power engineering projects is also rising steadily. The progress of science and technology has promoted the smart substation to become the frontier trend of substation construction. The construction of smart substation involves many advanced technologies, including but not limited to digital transformer, network communication technology, photoelectric technology, etc. These technologies not only change the structure and function of the substation, but also aim to ensure that the substation can achieve sustainable, stable, safe and economical operation. Therefore, the relay protection system of smart substation has become a key topic in the research field. This paper will discuss the debugging process and its application of relay protection in smart substation.
