Color Errors Generated Due to Color Space Transformation

A key challenge in the printing industry is automating quality control for printed materials and ensuring prompt detection of relevant printing defects. Image quality assessment plays a crucial role by allowing comparison between the original digital image and a captured image of the printed result. However, achieving accurate evaluations is complicated by differences in the color spaces used by printers and cameras. This study provides a comparative analysis of several methods for converting between RGB and CMYK color spaces, focusing on the color inaccuracies that can arise during these conversions.
