Unlocking Regulatory Technology on Fintech Use Among Indonesian Students: A Triad of Financial Literacy, Inclusion, and Risk Tolerance

Global finance has been substantially affected by the rapid proliferation of financial technology (fintech), and Indonesia is currently no exception. Interest in fintech solutions among students is increasing as a result of the Indonesian government's ongoing efforts to improve financial literacy. This research employs quantitative data collection and analysis. We conducted a comprehensive survey of 450 respondents from a variety of Indonesian university. Route analysis in this investigation is preferred to be conducted using SmartPLS 3.0. In this investigation, the potential of regulatory technology (RegTech) to mitigate the impact of students' financial literacy, financial inclusion, and risk tolerance on their utilisation of fintech is investigated. The findings of this study suggest that regulatory technology is a critical component that can serve as a source of positive reinforcement for individuals who possess financial literacy, financial inclusion, and risk tolerance, thereby enabling them to utilise fintech effectively and responsibly. Regulatory technology can moderate financial inclusion on fintech use. This information can assist policymakers, educational institutions, and fintech companies in the development of regulations that are focused and that integrate regulatory technology to provide students with a more comprehensive and secure financial environment.
