Design and Implementation of a 4-20 mA Digital Current Output Interface Using Domestically Manufactured Components

In response to the urgent need for domestic nuclear reactor instrumentation and control (I&C) systems, this study employs the NSA2860 chip, NSi8141 digital isolator, and GD32F450 microcontroller, all manufactured domestically, to design the circuit and drive of a 4-20 mA output interface provided with digital isolation. The current outputs are experimentally verified for precision. The results show that the digital current output interface is capable of high-precision digit-current conversion. From 1.845 mA to 23.8337 mA, the maximum relative error is only 0.0493%, fully satisfying the precision required for $4-\mathrm{2 0 ~ m A}$ current output interfaces in reactor I&C systems.
