Assessing the Performance of an E-Wallet Application Using Usability Testing Criteria

The development of information and communication technology has had a major impact on the transformation of online transaction activities, especially amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic which first occurred at the end of the 2019 decade. One of the online transaction applications in Indonesia is the XYZ application. Although this application is one of the most popular e-wallets in Indonesia, there are only a few unfavorable ratings regarding its user experience and user intarface. The usability factor is an important aspect of the success of the application. This study aimed to evaluate the usability level of the e-wallet application based on aspects of learnability, efficiency, error, memorability, and satisfaction level by involving 26 participants. The measurement results on the application show that the final evaluation results obtain a qualification score of 85%-100%. This shows that the application can be useful for users in a good category.
