Automated Internship Report Duty System Using Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

This project proposes an Automated Internship Report Duty System powered by Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to address the inefficiencies and errors associated with the current manual internship report process at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). The system integrates with Microsoft Power Platform and Office 365 to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance user experience for both students and administrators. Key functionalities include real-time filtering and suggestion for students during report form creation, automated data processing and document generation, and a robust emailing system for efficient communication. The system is designed to promote sustainability by reducing paper usage and energy consumption, while also fostering social sustainability by improving work-life balance for administrators and students. Furthermore, the system offers economic benefits by reducing administrative overhead costs. Overall, this RPA-powered system presents a comprehensive solution to enhance the internship experience, streamline processes, and promote sustainability for UTP's internship program.
