Enhancing Remote Learning By Using Competitive Coding Platform

This work proposes a customized LMS for effective programming to educational institutions in light of many eventualities, such as pandemics, climatic shifts, and unforeseen circumstances where students must pursue their education afar. In response to the growing need for remote and effective learning solutions in computer science education, the proposed work out-lines the implementation of an LMS centered around programming languages tailored to educational institutions. This paper addresses the application’s functions and authority provided to lecturers for designing their course outcomes in a customized LMS environment. The application will support lecturers to create courses, administer weekly tests, and decide whether the code is well written by using automated test case evaluations. Lecturers will be able to track their students’ progress and performance in their various disciplines, students can remotely analyze and study their code from any location. By addressing the shortcomings of traditional classroom-based instructions and assessments, this innovative approach aims to provide lecturers with greater autonomy and adaptability in structuring their lectures and lab sessions. In addition to the architecture, functionality, and influence on student learning outcomes of the language, future directions for research and implementation are addressed. This platform represents a significant advancement in the pedagogy and technological integration of effective remote learning in computer science education.
