Transmitter Fault Diagnosis Technology for High-Risk Complex Scenario

This paper is based on the high reliability and safety requirements for the field application of temperature transmitters. It adheres to transmitter safety standards and industry regulations to create a highly reliable temperature transmitter with high diagnostic capability and usability. During the design process, diagnostic circuits are used to diagnose inputs, outputs, and processors to meet high reliability requirements. A dual-CPU comparison is employed to compare processing results at each stage of operation, ensuring safe and reliable system operation. By incorporating the Failure Modes Effects and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA) method, the dangerous failure rate (PFD) is calculated. Analysis results indicate that this design meets the application requirements for high-risk scenarios such as petrochemical industries.
