High Quality Power-Aware Verification of Mixed Signal designs using UPF checkers

UPF checkers are critical in low power flows and help find bugs early in power-aware designs. The checkers check the conformity of the design against the specification for the low power requirements, so that the design adheres to the low power budget. The shift-left approach avoids catching issues at the silicon (Si) or subsystem (SS) level or at a later stage of the project. This paper will focus on the generic UPF checkers and demonstrate their ease of portability. We found > 8 bugs in the design with the shift-left in the verification process.
