Development of Smart Badminton Scoring System for Educational Purpose

The development of smart badminton scoring system for educational purposes is an innovative educational strategy for teaching badminton to all students and new athletes. This is due to the fact that many students and new athletes are unable to learn badminton by traditional instructional approaches such as reading, looking through books or conventional manual scoring method. The paperless intelligent badminton scoring system is created with two main objectives in mind. The first objective is to develop an intelligent badminton scoring system for teaching strategies, with a focus on doubles. It is impractical to expect all novices to be familiar with the rules and regulations of badminton doubles, including how to determine who serves and who receives and which side a player should be on. Second, to monitor and evaluate the performance of the scoring system in actual matches. This smart badminton scoring system was designed with IoT based so that anyone can use it and interpret it in the simplest way possible. This project created a badminton scoring kit that replicates an actual game, with a focus on doubles. Before beginning play on badminton equipment, the system can be adjusted for the start game, and players can be renamed using Blynk. Once the badminton kit has been activated, the user can control the game and the results will be recorded. In addition, all badminton match results will be generated and stored on a mobile device. The results of a match may be displayed on the user's mobile device. The results are automatically generated on a Google spreadsheet in PDF paperless form. This project has incrementally developed a badminton kit that would teach students and novice athletes while also aiding them in obtaining fundamental badminton knowledge and having fun. Additionally, the production cost of the badminton set is inexpensive, and the user can save a substantial amount of time by eliminating the need for a manual scoresheet.
